Kensington Market

So another nearby tourist attraction is Kensington Market.  A walkable bohemian neighbourhood that draws artists and tourists to its indie shops, vintage boutiques and arts spaces. In addition, the Market is also home to a wide array of speciality grocers, bakeries and cheese shops. Moreover, hipsters frequent trendy bars, cafes and international restaurants that range from casual to fine dining. In addition, students and families populate Victorian houses along tree-lined streets.

Moreover, the Kensington Market is an older neighbourhood and one of the city’s most well-known. So in November 2006, it was designated a National Historic Site of Canada.  Moreover Robert Fulford wrote in 1999 that “Kensington today is as much a legend as a district. Above all, the outdoor market has probably been photographed more often than any other site in Toronto. An iconic Toronto tourist attraction.

Little Italy

In addition, attractions nearby include Little Italy, sometimes referred to as College Street West, is a district in TorontoOntario, Canada. So it is known for its Italian Canadian restaurants and businesses. There is also a significant Latin-Canadian and Portuguese-Canadian community in the area. In addition. the district is centred on a restaurant/bar/shopping strip along College Street, centred at the intersection of College and Grace Streets and the adjacent residential area, but spreading out between Ossington Avenue and Dufferin Street.  Therefore, the exact borders of the district are imprecise.  So the area south of College to Dundas Street is almost always considered part of Little Italy. Similarly the area north of Harbord Street is known as Palmerston–Little Italy or Bickford Park.
